eh, most of the complaints have been justified. i'm a little confused about the issues surrounding betas, but i've changed the rule and made it voluntary, so hopefully things are less difficult now.

earlier i told her she makes harsh comments that hurt, and then she lectured my little sister and me for a half hour (and she digressed a lot and kind of made fun of how we felt)
and whaddya know, she got angry and said really mean stuff u_u
i'm not hurt by the stuff she said, as i'm used to it. i guess i'm really sad that she'll never listen to nor understand me. i'll get over this in like 2.5 seconds; i just wanted to get this off my chest u_u

Personally, I feel like my grasp on characterisation and story flow has improved drastically, but longfic is harder to write now. :/ It's still a net benefit, I guess.

RP helped me with my writing bc I was doing [action based] RP instead of paragraph based RP and it made me really look at my dialogue? And dialogue uesd to be my weak point! It also made me really look at characterisation. Most of the time I wasn't doing asian pop RP, but characterisation for minor characters is pretty similar to the way you build characters for real people i find in a lot of ways, so yeah!
