when or if I started shipping it: as soon as i got into sjm sometime last year
my thoughts: otp of otps. there's almost nothing that could stop me from shipping this.
What makes me happy about them: everything. uh if i had to pick one thing, i love the way they banter with each other.
What makes me sad about them: lack of sjm in general which means less opportunities for otp moments. also less opportunities for zhou mi to do things makes me really sad, because i have so many zhou mi feelings in particular (how could you not though).
things done in fanfic that annoys me: flanderization of both zhou mi and kyuhyun is rather extensive. every time i see a fic joke about how zhou mi might as well be a girl i nearly smash my laptop to bits. and so many other things too. i get annoyed by "fell in love with a straight boy la la la misery forever" stuff because i get enough of that storyline in real life and in mainstream portrayals of gay relationships.
things I look for in fanfic: fluff with a happy ending or light angst also with a happy ending (which i define as not angst for angst's sake. if everyone's in sheer misery for pages and pages i'm out). i love slice of life and run of the mill aus. boring doesn't exist for me and qmi in particular--as long as they are bouncing off each other in believable ways, i'll happily read.
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: lol implying this is a ship that could ever happen in reality. it'd be the sweetest thing if zhou mi gets married to a nice boy and kyuhyun attends the ceremony and is happy for him! yes that's my dream ending for real life.
