if it was a sincere apology and not a bullshit "i'm sorry you were offended" apology, then i'd take that gesture into account. it depends on what they did, too, and the severity of their problematic words or actions, as well as cultural context (cultural context doesn't magically absolve someone of their transgressions, of course, but i think it's really easy for calling out shit to snowball into picking apart every little thing and completely disregarding the context).
it'd depend on the tone of the apology but probably yes. i don't think it's worth writing off someone forever bc they said something problematic... almost everyone is going to be racist/sexist/homophobic/whatever at some point in their lifetime, and i don't understand why you'd keep hating someone who learns, acknowledges their wrongdoing, and is genuinely sorry for saying it in the first place.
it depends on the nature of the problematic action or words, of course, but chances are the people calling out kidols for shit have done problematic shit themselves, and instead of writing off that idol as their wrongdoing and nothing else, you should use their wrongdoing to open dialogue and reflect on your own wrongdoings.
