i got a betabuddy a few months ago and we sort of agreed on that being honest and harsh was the way to go so when she completely picked my fic apart i reciprocated, which i liked bec i think it was very constructive for the both of us. then i didn't hear from her since that first draft of her fic and i even wondered if there was something wrong with my email but i figured she was just busy or something. now i see she has churned out several fics since, + posted the finished (and not really edited) fic that i beta'ed and was supposed to recieve the second draft of... not sure how to interpret this.
