oh hehe that was me! i looove the effect of all the hugeass stage lights shining straight at them, the combination of the lens flare and until whenever and the close-ups of their comfortable encore shenanigans is so great *__* and yessss the ocean of fans is so beautiful, for the first minute of the video it really seems like the crowd just keeps going up past the stands and on forever ;__;

did you see gd's tweets from a couple of hours ago? he watched infinity challenge's latest episode (the 300th iirc), the one where they all reflected ~seriously~ on their past and how far they've come with the show and what they're thinking about in the future and gd was like i feel like big bang should do something like that too, and idk "great memories with great friends.. goodnight everyone. be happy." just hits me in the emotion bone so hard :( he's such a good kid :( I LOVE THEM SO MUCH :(

yeah and the sound of the crowd was amazing.

i'm always surprised at how they sing the songs with them. a friend of mine who's been to other kpop concerts in her country said it was the first time she'd seen a crowd respond like that to every song. like she was saying with suju's oncerts, it's a lot of chanting but this is the entire song. she's not really a bb fan but she was v. impressed.

he is a good kid and you see it in interviews like the recent sketchbook one. i love that they have a few days to spend in manila before the concert, though they're doing some event at a music store tomorrow. just time to slow down and hang out and think about life. it'll be 7 years next year :o did you see yb's tweet about the "5 eagle brothers"? they're all adorable. i love my ot5.

yes! lmao i'm going to the first nj concert and i'm like fuck, do i have to learn all the fanchants and stuff? but i'm probably just gonna belt out all the lyrics that i know like a fool because i'll probably be riding a massive adrenaline high all through the concert haha. but god that's so great, and it must make them feel like a million bucks ;__;

ugh i loved the sketchbook interview! and i just read the translated gq interview from this past weekend and gd's old 10asia interview from may, and he's just really thoughtful and clearly puts a ridiculous amount of effort into his work. from time to time i do wonder w/ him (lol the way he conducts himself online sometimes...) but whenever he speaks seriously in interviews and stuff it really reveals a ton of maturity, especially w/ a lot of the stuff he's said this year. and YES I SAW THAT PIC AND CAPTION bahaha, ot5 for real :')))

i'm going to both nj concerts (i think you're my regular bb anon :) hi!!!) and i took one look at the fanchants and thought fuck this shit! i know i'm going to forget every chant and remember every lyric. i think it surprises them still. that so many people know the lyrics. and i know they enjoy it because they now break in haru haru so that the crowd can sing. just like this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TdGpNl2TOs. and the crowd always sings regardless of the country.

and jvips have this thing where they sing the verse of "my heaven" where it talks about "waiting for you" before they come out for the encore. the fancams always give me goosebumps.

i love reading his print interviews (all of their print i'views, really but esp. gd and top) because he's always articulate and thoughtful. obviously, there are times when he's cocky, when he's childish, when he's not thoughtful but overall, he is not his stage name.

ahhhh hello we have found each other yet again!!! omg speaking of the crowd filling in lyrics tho, i was really moved when sketchbook kind of threw heartbreaker at him (tho omg lmao poor guy was so embarrassed, it's ok gd it's ok) and the audience filled in the ends of the first few lines as his backtrack and i was like *__* I LOVE IT WHEN A CROWD RESPONDS REALLY WELL and that always seems to happen with big bang. idk what it is about them but in all of the concert dvds and stuff that i've seen they seem to have a sort of magnetism that draws it out of the audience and it's so great. consummate performers :')

but yeah lol me : fanchants :: top : japanese lyrics, basically. and omg yes i think i've read fan accounts about the japanese concerts that talk about that at length *__*

yes!!! haha of course there are times when they half-ass shit (the anniversary q&as from august come to mind lol, these trolls) but yeah exactly. it's so dumb to conflate the two because w/ gd and top especially they =/////= their stage personas. i rly enjoyed top's 10asia interview from may too, i laughed bc on sketchbook gd was like oh when i'm dating someone i totally act like a baby and in the 10asia interview top says "i think mentally, i'm still twelve." GOD, THESE MENCHILDREN.

kbs were such assholes about heartbreaker and it was nice to see a crowd not completely dominated by fans jump in to help. YEAH! that's my kinda concert. i'm not really interested in a perfect performance and i don't think kpop is meant for that. i want to see interaction and responses and emotion. they really are terrific, terrific performers. i think that's one of the reasons they hold my interest. even their most blah songs are 1000 times better live.

i love those i'views. esp. the one where they were asked to define their relationships and everyone said seungri was the neighbour/neighbour's puppy. hee!!!! i'm really looking forward to top promoting alumni because some of his best and most in-depth i'views are from the promo period of into the fire. they really just are manboys and i hope they continue to be.
