i also really need to work on mine. :/ i started with one idea, wrote 4000 words of it, decided i didn't like it, and trashed it. i've started on another idea and have written ~1000 words but it's verrrrrry fragmented and incomplete. and tbh i don't love this idea either, but it's better than the last one and honestly i think it's the best i am going to get with the prompt i got. i'm hoping i'm going to be able to pull a miracle and just finish it in a fit of inspiration one night, hah.

yeah i've been researching mine like mad for the past few weeks (it's a research-heavy au) and i finally have an idea of what i want to do, but it seems like more than what i'll be able to pull off in a month :/ we can do it!! hopefully we can pull off a christmas miracle \o/ i keep reminding myself that the minimum is only 1500 lol.

lol the 1500 min word count is what inspired me to trash my old fic, tbh. i had 4000 words written and was staring down probably 3000-4000 more. i didn't love the idea and wasn't looking forward to working on it. and then i just suddenly realized that it's really not necessary for me to put so much effort into this, lol. so my new plan is just to spend a few days whipping up something short and sweet. but with the way i usually work, that too is going to require a christmas miracle, lol.
