um myungsoo is the clone/created one and L is the original aka the human being. and since he's the human, he can learn to act like myungsoo whereas myungsoo cannot learn to become L, which is why the company decided to get rid of myungsoo. i couldn't cram this backstory into the drabble

I've ordered from them before and didn't have any problems. It was just a bit slow to get to me. They nicely wrapped everything in bubble wrap and had packing material inside to make sure nothing banged around in the box.

so the reason i chose to use chinese was because it was the most abrupt way i could think of to signal that suddenly, he was hearing chinese and that's part of what stuck out at him, on top of picking out the words themselves. because the rest of the fic was in english, i figured it would be noticeable - too noticeable, i guess. in hindsight, i might have done '"可以吗？" is that okay?, he hears and whirls'. other thing is i wanted to ping in on lay's 'catchphrase' so to speak, or the one that was directly quoted. i wanted to go for the idea of loneliness, because it feels like sometimes lu han also has a need to be alone, but even so, you miss the people who are normally around you, that sort of feeling?

re: asian tourist, i hadn't realised it was such a bad thing, because stereotype meant it was a fast and easy image.

incidentally, i would have voted myself off too.

if anybody's still interested, it turns out the original chinese source completely mistranslated the korean fan accounts. nobody cursed at exo. exo fans were quarrelling with security guards. school boys were there but they left quickly after security guards told them too. it's the exo fans who wouldn't leave. no shinee fans involved.
