oh and morphine is horribly addictive ): idk if you have access to it but sometimes chinese medicine can help somewhat? it smells disgusting and tastes worse but it definitely alleviated the pain somewhat.

omg i'm chinese too anon o/ i can't stand chinese medicine sobs i took it for like 2 weeks to help with my acne and it did wonders but i almost cried from how bitter it was :( :( it's such an awful toss up between crying from cramps or crying from the bitterness of the medicine but medicine is expensive so i just... cry from the pain instead lol

it is expensive D: and not always covered by insurance/health plan either but klsdjglsdg you get used to how crappy it tastes after a while? i think i was on and off it for various reasons for over two years, and one of my friends was taking it for three or four because of period cramps ): life would definitely be so much more wonderful without pain. terrible pain that cannot be understood unless experienced.

chinese medicine doesn't get covered for me because it's an 'herbal remedy' and therefore not a 'real drug' /o\ how do you stand it anon!! the worst part is that it's an entire bowl and the more you drink the more concentrated it becomes but it also gets colder and by the end of it i'm just a shivering, teary mess. god my dad used to get mad at me for over exaggerating my cramps but one day i just lost it and asked him how he would feel if a massive muscle lining the insides of his torso was just spasming and clenching and trying to force itself out of your genitals and you would rather have white hot claws rake the inside of your stomach than to have this and then he was quiet after that
