Zhou Mi’s words are soft, all too fucking soft around the edges, whenever he speaks and whatever he says. It makes Kyuhyun laugh and grin and want to kiss him silly, press fluttering kisses to his lips as he continues to talk with the most wonderfully accented lilt to his words. He’s not really sure to how express this though, but he has to because the look on Zhou Mi’s face has turned sour and it’s not really nice at all.

‘Why are you laughing at me?’ he asks, frustrated and Kyuhyun feels bad. Sort of. Because Zhou Mi is talking in soft Korean, even when he’s angry and it doesn’t sound as hard or guttural as it should, so Kyuhyun just grins wider and says,

‘I love you.’

lol it's just some au where they don't do much aside from being in love and learning the other's language (kyuhyun is a giggly mess over zhou mi's silly and cute korean while zhou mi is not as amused, so kyuhyun decides to be romantic and master the chinese language in secret to make up for it ;;) i have some ideas for it so i might write more, but idk

ugh god that sounds COMPLETELY ADORABLE AND LOVELY, poor zhou mi and I love the idea of kyu trying to master chinese to make up for it ahfjalfjhakd any qmi is wonderful and lovely, and if you have ideas for it then I hope you write more! I would read this ♥

in my mind it's all that zhou mi tries so hard to learn korean and kyuhyun gets all giggly and thinks mimi's really qt but doesn't know how to show it, so zhou mi gets annoyed at last because he feels like he's only being made fun of and "it's not that easy, you sound dumb when you speak chinese". so uh. kyuhyun tries to master the chinese language to make up for it, because logically that's the right thing to do. okay lolidk i just think it's romantic to learn a new language for someone you love ;;

THAT IS SO ADORABLE THOUGH, and it really is romantic and sweet and kind of silly but it makes sense? I don't really know what I'm saying anymore but I think this sounds so completely lovely and adorable and all the things that I love most about qmi, so I shall be here, silently encouraging (and hoping!) for it's beautiful completion ♥
