We were discussing homosexuality because of an allusion to it in the book we were reading, and several boys made comments such as, “That’s disgusting.” We got into the debate and eventually a boy admitted that he was terrified/disgusted when he was once sharing a taxi and the other male passenger made a pass at him. The lightbulb went off. “Oh,” I said. “I get it. See, you are afraid, because for the first time in your life you have found yourself a victim of unwanted sexual advances by someone who has the physical ability to use force against you.” The boy nodded and shuddered visibly.“But,” I continued. “As a woman, you learn to live with that from the time you are fourteen, and it never stops. We live with that fear every day of our lives. Every man walking through the parking garage the same time you are is either just a harmless stranger or a potential rapist. Every time.” The girls in the room nodded, agreeing. The boys seemed genuinely shocked. “So think about that the next time you hit on a girl. Maybe, like you in the taxi, she doesn’t actually want you to.”

i am duly unimpressed by to the beautiful you. although minho seems to be doing ok so far with his acting (and sulli is adorable and reminds me a bit too uncomfortably of taemin because that kiss scene), the drama seems too flat and dry and the pacing all off.
i can't name one korean drama that actually engaged me.

this has probably been said before, but i don't understand why people have this obsessive compulsive need to compare fics with similar ideas or basis to each other.
it's slightly ridiculous when every single robot/ai fic for exo is being compared to absolute chanyeol (even the chobits!au for run and gun which, hello, is based on chobits and not absolute boyfriend like absolute chanyeol is). or fics with time-skips, time-jumps, time-loops and non-linear timelines being compared to arbitrage. or fics with amnesia as a plot point being compared to anterograde tomorrow.
i get that those respective fics have made their round across the fandom and are essentially the go-to fics for the pairings or concept, which is fine, but it's like, jfc, don't assume that a fic posted later with a similar concept was inspired by them. they didn't come up with the concept, and it's not exclusively theirs, and people should be able to write robot fic without getting comments like "you were inspired by ac, weren't you?"

you sound pressed and while you make a fair point there really isn't much you can do about it.
