fandom on a superficial level, ficdom hardly ever. i told a friend irl that i write fic but only because i know she writes fic, and we didn't exchange names lol

it's easy to talk about internet friends like they're rl friends ("i have a friend who said...") so that's not much of an issue

yeah i have no problem telling my close friends. kpop is mainstream here anyway

my parents know about me having internet friends (kind of hard to avoid when i've met as many in person as i have) and my best friend and ex-bf know about my fic writing, though my bff knows the full extent (porn) while my ex-bf would just say things like "you should write a story about legend of korra in x universe" bless his heart
