it's extra disappointing because the overall quality of winnerx fics was so high. clearly we have it in us to become a great ficdom. we just don't seem to be doing that for whatever reason :( (i'm guilty of this too)

no judgement, i'm always talking about wanting winner fic, but i'm guilty of... not ficcing them

it's more a problem of not being able to write in general :( i'm not sure if it's stress or real life problems or just bad writer's block, but i can't seem to turn out anything i'm happy with. i come up with a lot of ideas, especially for winner, but then they just ... don't happen.

also some of the ideas are just terrible self-indulgent idfic so i plan for those to never see the light of day /o\

lmao anon are you me? we're in the exact same headspace. in my case i'll have an idea, but i just... i'm really unsatisfied with my writing, and then i end up not being able to come up with anything... or i feel like they're too self-indulgent and feel embarrassed

you should post those fics on a sock anon!! with me i just don't have many ideas for winner. even before my writers block i just never had a strong urge or idea like "i want to see winner in this universe!!!"? but i still wanted fic for them because i like reading them?

and now that's me with every band. every band has become my winner

what a life we live :( my ficdom experience is a long sequence of inadequacies, lol. maybe i need to sort out what my writing style is attempting to become and then it'll be easier to start writing? probably not tho lol

i... have considered posting the embarrassing fic on a sock /o\ i'm just afraid my friends would figure me out way too quickly. and i don't want to write the good ideas until i can do them justice if that makes sense? so all my ideas just build up to alarming proportions with no motivation to do anything about them fml
