;____; i started off as a jaehyo stan but kyung has grown so much on me that i would consider myself a stan ;_____; i do understand a lot of people's dislike of kyung but he has a very special place in my heart, and i can only tell you that he's a lot more insecure than he lets on and takes to praise really sheepishly when it comes to his fans /o\

what has mostly endeared me to him is how he treats and honestly just seems to adore the fans and i'm just like come here my son and let me pet you. i don't know when and how these feels happened! but it did and i have zero regrets! you seem like you've liked them for a long time so um c-could you spare the time to tell me more abt him and his insecurities? (/sobs i started as a jaehyo stan too ;____;)

HI ANON don't worry at all aaah i would love to talk to you about kyung! i can tell you that he really does adore his fans a lot and seems to get along with everyone in block b well. he turns up the grease and aegyo for the camera a lot but i think at fansigns and stuff he doesn't overdo it? he's sweet and thankful and i can personally tell you that he's a lot more modest that he comes off as. and he always seems extremely grateful to the fans as well, for example, when block b had their showcase last october after being on hiatus again and switching companies, the fans organised an event during the showcase for the lights to go out then turn on again so the boys would be shocked to see all of the fans holding up banners that said "we've missed you", and kyung was the one to silently stand there and cry while the other boys were all "what's this... this is so unexpected" and saying thank you repeatedly.

in regards to his insecurities.. idk if that many people do this anymore but back when they debuted there were many jokes about kyung and his long face/jaw to the point that fans were teasing him and calling cucumber face etc, some fans even brought cucumbers to showcases and events and so on. kyung always played along but i vaguely remember him saying in an interview that "those who might be smiling on the outside can be hurt on the inside", though don't quote me on that /o\ the teasing i think... lead to him taking more drastic measures considering he did have plastic surgery done and got his jaw reshaped :( so i think he has a number of insecurities in regards to his looks and how people perceive him to be, and as brutally honest many fans are i wish more of them chose to not touch on appearances as they did back then.

THANK YOU omg i was not expecting such a long comment aaah so you've seen them personally? so lucky! i've watched fancams of the boys and kyung's face just lights up when he sees fans and idk but it's so sweet and endearing and aah i'm so sad i didn't notice him sooner! :( but ig i can make up for it now ;w; he seems to be very emotional and, maybe, sensitive (i think that's the word i'm going for).

ouch. that's so harsh. i missed all these things :( but aaah i know bbcs and block b have more of a informal and friendly/familiar relationship with one another and they both seem to tease each other a lot. i'm sure the jokes were all in good fun :( but oh. god. poor thing :( i did notice the change in his jaw but i didn't know that those jokes and teases could've played a part in all that :(

yes i was lucky enough to attend one fansign/showcase when they came to my homecountry /o\ he's honestly just rly sensitive and i think he tries to mask that but i still think he's just rly sweet towards his fans ;__;

yeah bbcs and block b have a pretty good thing going and the ones that are left from the original bunch of them (you'd be surprised at how much shit slinging i witnessed during their thai controversy) are also gems imo ;; idk how much the jokes and teasing could have played a part in him deciding to get his jaw done but... it has to be one of the reasons, honestly, that and societal norms/pressures/personal feelings i'm sure ;;

they haven't been to my country yet! so you're rly lucky, anon!

i love how close the fans and they are! it's one of the things that rly got me interested in block b to begin (that and their consistent jams ;___;) i thankfully wasn't around for the thai happenings /o\ i'm sorry you had to go through all that; i'm sure it was a nightmare! ;;

jaehyo and kyung have one of the cutest friendships. and <3 that bday message from jaehyo. sweetest awkward prince of my heart. (would it be bad if i wanted to ship this? idts ;n;) aaah anon tysm you are a gem to have stumbled across /o\ i always thought the fandom was small/quiet or nonexistent!
