i don't really feel like getting into a conversation about it tbh but basically stuff like op mentioned. there are a lot of fans out there with weird attitudes towards homosexuality, who treat being gay like a game and talk about it like being straight gives them the right to play sexuality police ("oppa can't be gay bc ____"). there's much more to it but tl;dr i'm kind of getting sick of the flippant and bumbling way the subject is treated in fandom.

it seems like lot of fans like to joke about oppa being gay or even ship it and write it etc but the moment anyone suggests it seriously they immediately turn to NO OF COURSE HE'S NOT GAY DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT HIM!!
