Well, I think it is in character! But yes that he is usually portrayed as a slow thinker or someone who thinks a lot. I don't think is a bad thing though. He even talks slowly so...

ah ok i seem to have misunderstood. lol yeah the slow thing. i do agree that he's occasionally slow but not at all to the extent some ppl are bringing it? he can be quick and witty sometimes, idk.
