wtf that first gif, this industry is so confusing to me sometimes
being harsh on someone for not singing well is one thing (tho not a good one or a constructive one either bec supposedly he was put in this group for a reason and we all know there's visual/useless members so) but why would a member have taught him to sing and why would this person be scolded i'm like don't they have singing coaches & shit and if these people can't teach him to sing they're technically not doing their job and shouldn't they be scolded instead (i'm simplifying it here ik) and the singing coaches are part of the company and i assume that the persong scolding in this case is also somehow part of the company thus the company only got itself to blame for not managing the organization and/or putting in members they should know aren't great at singing??
idk i'm just not into all this scolding and tough "love" going on
i'm guessing this was supposed to be for ~the drama~ but they do have time to practice on their own, and because they're a team(? sort of???), the stronger members are expected to help the weaker ones.
the stronger members should help but should not be responsible of the weaker members progress. i'm taking this too srsly. i hate these dramatic moments they put in it always makes me uncomfortable
this was definitely a scripted moment but like the other anon said it's to emphasize that they're a team. once they became vixx they stopped being individuals who were responsible for themselves and became a group so that one member's failure is the group's failure. a little fucked up, but years of sports have taught me the same thing lol.
what kind of show was this? yeah i understand it but i think it's stupid. i also get that kpop agencies rly need to be srs and harsh with their idols to succeed but i so often don't agree with their methods.
it was a predebut show about the forming of vixx. they got rid of four members during the course of the show so yeah it was definitely meant to showcase all of the hardship they went through to debut, to get the viewers to sympathize with them
