ah yeah i think that some of the elements would have to be toned down but it's just the kind of darkfic i'd be into *_____*

dw anon, same here! i'm just scared, because i know fandom in general isn't the best when dealing with controversial/dark elements fic, and kinda just gloss them over and use them for easy emotion. even the best writers are prone to it. u___u

yes unfortunately ;~; it would have to be a talented writer to capture the darkness of this without being pretty gross in its portrayal. i want shame and noncon and everything without any victim blaming or endorsement of those behaviors.

yeah, like it would have to be someone that has a v. good eye not only for writing, but also for plot and how to make it nuanced. which is difficult bcos k-pop fic is so filled with one shots. i mean, i'm saying this knowing i could never ever pull it off u___u i'd probably end up making it accidentally problematic and wouldn't do serious issues the justice they deserve. are there any fic writers you think would be able to pull it off? i think grisclair might be able to, but i'm not sure.

yeah i know personally i wouldn't be able to flesh out the plot like it deserves because i'm a more shallow writer.

grisclair is a good choice! she writes rly excellent plots imo. i was thinking threewalls just based on the last krisbaek she wrote, it was deliciously fucked up, but i don't think she writes longer fic?

same here. i'm just rolling around in my superficial little 4k college aus.

oooh yes! threewalls would be good, but i'm not sure how well she can sustain longfic. i now that's rly hard to do.

omg i love darkfic and this sounds fantastic. tho ia that it would be hard to pull it off, esp as a fic writer. idk if i'd dare to take on and try to handle heavy issues like these.

yeah i mean....it's a lot and i wouldn't trust the vast majority of writers to handle it (myself included, definitely) but the summary hits all of my desires for fic head on lol

exactly but yeah me too. this, being attracted to your bullies, being both attracted to and repulsed by someone, finding someone repulsive bec they don't stand up for themselves... these are all themes i find so interesting (and also hot lbr unf)

ugh yes anon all of this, exactly. getting off on being bullied is unfortunately a bulletproof kink for me.

yeah i'm into this... idk, power shift. like bullying is abt having power over someone, and this power is what lets the bully keep on bullying. but if the bullied sort of enjoys it, the bully doesn't actually have power over him. and if the bullied even wants to be bullied, he in a way has power over his bully.

idk power structures are interesting to me

yessss perfect way of describing it. especially when the bully is bullying someone out of repressed desire then the bullied not caring is such a huge shift and would throw them off so much

exactly. all i want is someone supposedly strong losing power and someone supposedly weak having power

omg this is actually somewhat similar to a fic idea i've had for a while, but which i've just pushed away cos it's just such a heavy subject. it would be so interesting to attempt it though. i love that kind of stories, all dark and wrong and fucked up.

the fandom i originally had the idea for was dgna, cos of the stuff that happened with hyunchul and the things that happened within their company. probably another reason why i never actually wrote it tbh; it's a bit too rooted in reality. ;;

he said on an appearance on strong heart (i think) that he's really uncomfortable with men getting too close to him because he's gotten groped and sexually harassed before.

i think it's the only instance of a guy in k-pop admitting to something like that?

idk how accurate the translation is, but yep. and considering all the stuff that was going on with their skeevy ceo... there's a lot of implications there imo.
