if you're talking about vixx exchange, it's not due until october, right? i'm not starting for a while yet lol.
but that doesn't mean you have to have a ton done. it doesn't say anything about sending in a draft.
i love how i have all this motivation to finish a fic i've been working on to let it lie in peace but then i write a bit and stare at my word document like ehh maybe tomorrow u_u
here's something sad: i've been working on the same fic for 2 tears now
anon i thought i was the only one u___u i started a fic last spring that i meant to finish this summer but it didn't happen and idk if it will u___u tho when i think about it a lot of my ideas i've been carrying around for several months or half a year, so idt it's such a big deal after all
I still have one that's 4 years old but that may never see the light of day wae ;; i feel u anon

what are anons thoughts on the length of chapters/parts? i've always thought around 7k was a good time to cut off to a diff part (ie 1, 2, 3 etc), but posting on lj lets you have like what..10k characters or something. ?_?
been working on this messed up girl group au for a while now and idk if i'll ever get around to posting it but i'm digging the process :)
to me I look more at where in the flow of the story a cut off would be appropriate more than actual word count. its like an intermission for your reader to digest what they've read so that the next part will be more meaningful or interesting or something. or you know a god place to pause to rest straines eyeballs like an intermission at a ballet because you've been on your ass too long
woogyu anons what are your favorite woogyu fics (or alternatively woohyun-centric or sunggyu-centric)?;; I am relatively new to the fandom but I feel like I've already read everything orz

this isn't really fic related but i just want to gush about how much i adore b1a4, their music, and the amount of effort they've but into their solo con(s) ;~; their baba dvd is seriously one of the best fandom purchases i've made, and i know i'm going to save up money to buy their amazing store one when they release it.
meanwhile writing them is hard when i have all these cute scenes in my head but no real motivation or confidence to write them /o\

i'm all for the break when the story needs a pause before the next part, yet i feel like i've read in certain places that readers like shorter chunks as opposed to longer chunks at one time. i can't say i've ever paid too much attention to the word count of a story...the only thing that really throws me off is if a story has a chapter thats say 8k and then the next is like 3k and then followed by 7k or something

they are amazing T___T i used to be just a casual fan of them since their debut but after seeing them live at amazing store i was literally blown away. they put lots of effort in their concerts, like you said, and it definitely shows. ngl i didn't think they'd be this good live but they really were.
not to mention that they're all total sweethearts and interact a lot with the fans and ugh, my feelings ♥
