if they're not trolling then yes they are genuinely personally offended and think that a light sprinkling of hyperbolic misandry is just as bad as or even worse than the mountain of misogyny women face all the damn time

i wasn't even going to mention the amount of vitriol directed at female idols in this fandom (and there's a lot of hostility toward women in slash-centric fandoms in general lbr) since this is probably a troll but srsly this line of reasoning wreaks of "what about the menz"
