sungyeol finds a package on the foot of his bed, which is strange, seeing as how he hasn't ordered anything new in the past few weeks. the shipping label's been torn off and the box is dented at the sides, the only identifying mark on it a small blue logo for an online clothing store.

he picks it up and shakes it before tearing open the flaps. a light, navy blue dress falls on sungyeol's lap and the bottom glides down his legs to graze the floor. it's just his style, simple and clean, and the only embellishments are three gold buttons lining the front. he remembers seeing it in a catalog for a brand infinite had modeled for earlier in the year, and he had liked it then as much as he does now.

i think the one thing i get/feel the most from this snippet is something a lot like hopeful regret? like things have happened in the past that you want to change and/or has changed you but you're still hopeful for whatever the future might bring. sorry this sounds like a strange fortune cookie fortune lol

finding a package at the foot of the bed tells me you've experienced things that have been imposed beyond your control. like a person doesn't usually don't wake up to find something at the foot of your bed, but outside your front door or in your mailbox

this is my first time doing something like this so i hope some parts makes sense, even just a little bit

the way he hasn't done anything for this to happen but he's wanted it makes me thing perhaps you're not the most ambitious person? or you're one who'd choose a lot of whatever, i'll manage over a bit of very exact happiness and its consequences. and that you don't forget easily and in some way, you'd want this person to be a very particular person and it comes across in the way you write them. like you have a very detailed opinion of the ideal version of this person and maybe for yourself as well. maybe you daydream or you don't like to stand out though you'd love to be precisely what you want, perhaps it would get you attention you don't want so it's a bit of a personality tug of war?
