um, alright, so. i think the first thing that struck me was, i wasn't really expecting the lighthouse to be haunted? it sounded like a very realistic scenario of your parents not letting you do something because that's just one of those things parents do. and to go so far as never allowed to stand in the shade of the huge rocks near the lighthouse, i would guess maybe you have strict parents? or you're not as physically adventurous as you are in your imagination. the aloe cream part makes me think either you have some knowledge or interest of skincare, or it's a cultural hand-me-down. maybe you were close to your grandparents? because i guess most people would have said sunscreen. in fact, either you were deliberately going for a small town feel or you grew up with a very particular set of faces around you. and the fact that it is the mother's fear in particular at the end, i don't know. i guess i'd say maybe you're the sort of person who wants to be reckless but it's too late now?

just a lot of shots in the dark but i have to say, i really like this! it said a lot in very few words and it was very atmospheric~
