yeah, that is totally valid! i wanted to stress how much of a personal thing this is for me. call me misandrist or whatever, but while blah blah gender roles hurt everyone, i really do believe that they hurt women more. as such it's easier for me to have fun comparing false images in boy groups to whatever their real personality is like, whereas i just get sad thinking about the ways girls are socialized and it reminds me too much of my everyday life.
