when it's a rookie group they usually do a follow up. ie shinee with llo and amigo.

yes but times have changed, i wouldn't be surprised if they scrapped their old formula in favor of a new one (multiple teasers for exo, one promo a year for all the other artists, subgroup promotions for snsd, japanese promotions, etc.)

and maybe they learned from their mistake? f(x) didn't exactly take off as well as shinee did when they made their follow-up promotions with chu and nu abo
