anons, fic comms or fic journals?

i keep everything on one journal which probably annoys my flist from time to time but i am far too lazy to split things apart lol

as long as it's somewhat organised, either by tagging or a masterlist or both, it doesn't matter imo

usually it doesn't matter, but if you plan on locking content then comm, because friending is a hassle

i like comms because they're easy to manage, you don't have to log on to a different account to post, and readers can join the comm at will rather than waiting for the writer to add them back.

fic journals can be nice though if you want to separate your writing from your actual journal completely. (with comms, you're posting to a comm but your journal name is still attached.)

comms. it allows readers to follow an author's activity without friending them and authors to lock certain stuff to community members rather than locking it to friends or making it completely private.

I've had both, but i honestly prefer my comm better in terms of managability.
