"I heard about my role later. I personally didn’t have any bias or prejudice against homosexuality so I wasn’t really pressured about that. But my company director was a bit concerned. People around me were worried that my image would be negatively affected. But I said that I really wanted to do it and asked multiple times that they allow me. I really wanted to play this role."

"firstly, since this is a show filled with emotions, and our main roe is a singer, even when we sing normally, we also have to sing with emotions in our songs. with this practise on normal occasions that have been collectively built up, i have thus managed to take it in. when i am acting, i actually do not think of it as a man liking a man, but the fact that i am greatly moved by this person called yoonjae, and i like this person a lot. that is why acting it out would be relatively easy."
