i am probably inciting wank with this comment, but i think anons misunderstand ctab's reasons for writing fic. she doesn't really care about canon, hence why she doesn't put very much of it in her fic. she's not writing treatises on the characters of the idols she writes about; she's just writing stories that she thinks are intriguing, using idols as characters that she/her readers can immediately identify with.

+1 i follow her on tumblr and i really like how she spews out these ridiculous stories in her tags just from simple edits

i mean i feel like anons are deeming her work as bad just bc they don't delve deep and try to explore characterization so it doesn't follow their idea of what a kpop fic should be but ctab seems to be writing purely for the fun of writing? i mean she obviously enjoys what she's doing and sometimes anons just sound really bitter about it

lol i'm honestly new to her and her fic i just wish that she would cut back on the extremes of her characters because it makes the fic less enjoyable to read. she's great with fun plots.

yeah, this exactly. she's just writing because it's fun, and she likes creating things that other people to enjoy. i really don't think she gives two shits about character as it pertains to canon, and if you do, then you are not her target audience, and you should go read someone else.
