i didn't mean it as a personal attack, anon, just that this is how i'd react in that situation. that person might've changed their views on friending people they don't know? or if you have a mutual friend who can introduce you, that's always a good way to make friends with new people. idk what you can do in your situation if you've always easily made friends with fandom accounts - (i really do not mean this harshly) but maybe take it as a lesson that not all people in fandom are that open?

we have a few common friends but it's been months since i requested to follow her and it'd be awkward now. also if it says anything, i know some people that requested a follow a while ago and they got accepted. i'm a nugu so i know she doesn't have anything against me or something of that sort so i can't really think of any reasons to put me in her pending list lol

maybe they've spoken to her outside of twitter before? or maybe it's because you're nugu and that she doesn't know anything about you that she's still hesitant to req her? idk her reasons for not accepting you but if she's accepted others, then i'm sure she'd have some and you could always ask some mutual friends to tentatively ask her them.
