that anon and maybe not offensive, but insensitive. like is it really neccesary to bring it up and blog about it but if anons see it as more of an oppar didn't mean it then it doesn't really matter. also anons seem to feel the same way and take the same viewpoint about it, so
well.... ig i don't see it as an "oppa didn't mean it" thing but something i honestly don't find offensive at all? i mean, i think it'd be really insensitive if he went on a variety show and straight up complained about a different country's water, or if he said smth like that in an interview in that foreign country
but in a blog post it's... like standard blog feelings?
idk i hold idols as public figures so they can't do the same things as a normal person and get away with it. it's all about image and i didn't think that was a good pr move, no matter how innocent any comment or action is (like dating scandals)
i thought it was a really stupid move but i don't really listen to her songs or watch her on shows so it doesn't matter at all to me. but i don't think it's wrong for the public to get angry at her and eunhyuk: not because she's a female idol and the double standards involved, but because she's an idol and she should have known better because being an idol is only what, 15% about the music? the rest is image. this is what differs between her scandal and hara's - hara wasn't an idol when the photos came out, which means what she did was what a 17 y/o did, not what an idol did. and that makes the difference to me
jw, and this honestly doesn't detract from your opinion in anyway, but how old are you and which part of the world are you from? bc this is the first time i've seen this pov and i'm wondering if it's bc the location/age of the ppl i talk to are pretty homogenous
definitely an asian pov. idt there's really a large difference in a 'se asian' view vs 'east asian' or an 'asian' view in general. but i don't see how this plays into the convo?
i just think it's really entitled to think this way when the bigger picture is that people don't even have water to drink and you're honestly complaining about how bottled water doesn't taste the same. it's even worse to me when you're an idol, you broadcast this view and you're supposed to be an example
