this is typical of how people hit on me: once this guy came up to me at a book sale and tried to engage me in a conversation about his trip to japan and how quiet and efficient everything was there, told me my english was "really good" after i told him it was my first language, and then called me rude when i didn't want to give him my e-mail

it made me feel ridiculous and confused and disappointed at myself that i didn't just walk away, but then i raged and then i loled and felt better
