(Anonymous) 2012-11-18 05:31 pm (UTC)(link)exactly! and idk after seeing yb's earnestness in person and watching fancams of him being a total sweetheart signing things for people, i can't even be mad at him. i don't like it any more than i used to but i'm not as bothered by it anymore, if that makes sense? if his new solo album still has him sporting the hideous style he's adopted i'm not gonna be happy, obviously, but it's like... idk underneath it all he's still pretty sweet and i can't begrudge him for that, lmao.
SO excited for mama, oh my god. i'm really glad they're going to be there, for a while before the announcement it was a little touch and go and i was like :| PLEASE. ty based kpop gods for answering my prayers.
no i didn't!! not surprised tho, his connections seem vast and extensive lmao. as of late i feel like he's probably the most savvy celebrity-wise out of all of them, which is interesting.

(Anonymous) 2012-11-18 05:44 pm (UTC)(link)i'v personally never been a big fan of yb's solo work because i almost always hate his lives. i'm not really interested in the dancing and he seems to be far more into dancing than he is singing. he has a few terrific songs (sinerr, omg!), but overall, it's just not my thing.
i still think he's exceptionally sweet but he's still also exceptionally embarassing and he always seems to be worse when he's alone.
i've loved every single mama perf they've ever done and i hope this one is epic too!

he says this is the real him but then he's so effing sweet offstage and is that an act? he needs to stop trying so hard and just be yb.
i have this image of ri being surrounding by women at the roulette table and living it up. only to have them disappear when he begins to lose and he's all, but why? didn't you think i was awesome? i'm a super-important south korean popstar? shall i do the gangnam style dance for you?
