yeah, i actually think a lot of guilty pleasures are difficult to write because we've seen them done so badly but want to do them well. ;;

i agree! i don't want it to be half-assed but esp for topics like bullying it's so hard ;~; bc you really have to get across everyone's feelings and why they're acting a certain way and well WORDS

only kinda sorta related but i've written about things like sex addiction that required research and trying to put complicated but important feelings and motives into words and, yeah, i'm not that great with words sobs

but it's always more rewarding the more work you put into it. (:

you go, anon! that sounds amazing and like a complicated topic ;~; reading about jock bullying gay kid just reawakened all the feels i had back when i was really obsessed with trying to write it. i wish i had more time so i could delve into it again. and this is totally ot but i'm also insecure about my language skills so, yeah.

what can i say, that's true :) satisfaction is the greatest when you know you've worked hard!
