so anon, how does one get into politics :( i've never really cared v much/been involved before because it's something that my family just really doesn't talk about. i barely even follow the news bc when i try i don't understand anything /o\
nope canadian :( i mean we had mandatory socials studies in grades 9-11 but it was just like canadian history and we never really talked about current/more recent events
idk if there's really a right way or anything. for starters ig just look up how the govt works? like what the positions mean and how things are done and who does what and then you can start looking into your own local govt in the news and stuff
decide what matters to you and focus on that at first and then you can expand your knowledge. i became a really strong pro-choice advocate in high school and learned a lot more about feminism and then lgbt rights and economic policies that way.
