ok anons i have a cool story to share not really it's really dumb

there is this gross spider, maybe a black widow, that has been chillin outside my apartment for weeks now. i live on the second floor and it's hanging out right at the top of the stairs, next to the doorframe, so that every single time i open the door i worry about it crawling in and getting inside my bed and crawling in my underwear or something. i am not brave enough to attempt to kill it.

but tonight i finally got sick of it, so as soon as i got inside my apt i looked for a weapon. there was an almost-finished stack of post-its on the counter, and this was the plan: throw the post-its at the spider, the spider falls down the stairs, through one of the cracks in between the steps, and out of my life forever.

except, mid post-it toss, my neighbors started walking up the steps. they definitely saw me chuck something down the stairs and then dart back into my apartment. and, when i think about the trajectory of the post-its and the spider, the spider could have landed on one of them? i heard screaming a minute ago. i think i'm now the weird neighbor who throws spiders at people.

i don't have any, so idk? i just use windex on the ants. plus bug spray doesn't kill them right away, they crawl around all angry and vengeful for a while and i just wanted it far away from me
