kinda ot? but it's really pissing me off how so many people around me are joking about sandy being "a pussy of a hurricane" and being over hyped because we weren't really affected. people died in it and buildings and homes were destroyed and there are still thousands of people without homes and power >:(

wow, some people can be really insensitive. it wasn't overhyped. i'd say people were "overprepared" for it, but it's not really a bad thing. at least you were prepared, unlike people in other who countries who don't give a shit about hurricane warnings and complain that they weren't warned. ugh :|

and some people could never have been prepared enough tbh :( i'm proud that everyone seemed to step up for this though? there was one HONY picture where a man said he only left his house because he was threatened with getting arrested and he said he was so glad the police stopped by because his house was ruined
