lately i've been taking notes on my ipod when i think of them and then try to expand on them later. i end up with a million little dead ends unfortunately but i prefer that to trying to hold onto an idea in my head because i inevitably forget it. i use paper and pen when i'm really stuck and/or need to take away the power to fidget with my sentences.
