ia but i guess they don't really see the point in pushing their idols into variety shows when they're making money and gaining fans without them anyway? when was the last time an entire sm group had their own show lol, snsd's dangerous boys?
i think it's pretty obvious that korean public recognition isn't the company's main goal for their groups anymore, they're more about the international scene now and ~leading the hallyu wave~ i'm not saying they're right or anything, but their recent decisions in promotions (uploading a lot of material like music videos, exo's 23 teasers, music show performances, etc.) point to making more of an impact internationally than just locally
