true. personally i'd take this over being a poor, white male any day because i can live with the wisecracks if i have the money. i think i'm just really dependent on having financial security

it wouldn't just be wisecracks though? it would be people questioning the legitimacy of your power and your worth as a person. although i do think you're right in that money is a pretty big buffer nowadays

they can question it, but only to a certain extent because if i am richer/hold more power, they have to know when to stop. as for worth as a person...i have personal issues with liking myself so other people not valuing me is the least of my problems lol. money is slowly becoming the new measure of ultimate privilege
