i would say yes, as i don't think it's that fandom-specific, or at least not all of what makes it interesting to me is fandom-specific. mainly it looks at the dynamics of a three-way relationship (in this case, three collaborators), and you don't necessarily have to know each member to appreciate it. the scientific parts are incredibly well-researched but written in a way that flows naturally, and it also gets into medical ethics from a pretty balanced perspective. so if any of that interests you, then yes!
