i love writing au's but i always get too caught up in the technicalities of them. like that space traveller above - i wonder where he's going, where he's coming from, what's in the air that forces him to wear a mask and whether it's likely that a gas mask would be enough in a foreign atmosphere. and i wonder how long he's gonna be away and if he has food for the whole journey; he's not carrying a lot. what does he live off. does he feel gross when he can't bath in a few days.
or zombie au's. i love zombie au's, but automatically try to think what i would do in a situation like that. and i'd sit in a car and go as far away from all the zombies as possible. but what happens when i run out of gas? where will i go, where will i find necessities, how will i live, what will feed me for the rest of my life in the ruins of society?
