da I feel like the nct thing doesn't really lend itself to a ficdom? both in number of members and lack of... interactions. but who knows, people still went crazy for exo. I think ficdom wise I would see ikon (even tho they kinda died) monsta x or seventeen eventually drawing people away if they hit it big.

I guess bts feels like a special case to me because I've seen a lot of western fandom people get into it? or like... anime (this one haikyuu fanartist who got into bts) so we will see!!

ia, the next flood of fic writers could definitly also go towards those two/three fandoms.
but it's unevitable that after a certain time ficdom declines, bc it feels like every possible story for every possible ship has been told, and it gets repetitive?
