ty i am going to try to go to the doctor today (つ﹏<)・゚。 part of it is that, and then part of it is just that anticipating my schedule over the next year, i don't really want to commit to anything i might end up being too busy for? btsx is largely a solo endeavor so maybe bringing on more help would make things easier u__u i was really happy with such a huge turn-out this year, and i will always believe that everyone should have a chance to participate regardless of skill level or experience in exchanges but with the way ficdom has been lately i feel so disconnected from it personally. i really hope we don't end up with a vkook exchange (realistically a jimin exchange would be first. i can see it now.)

ahh maybe do bring on someone else? i didn't know it was solo, you're incredible mod T__T turnout was crazy, i realistically expected maybe 40-50 max, i can't believe we ended up with 72 (even with drop outs? idk the profile doesn't update). i think i'm also surprised by the top pairings so far.

also i see it too tbh... i wouldn't complain... jk i would because it's going to snowball and then ficdom will truly go to the dogs.

aw ty ;_; mostly it hasn't been a problem as long as other people can step in for me during posting because matching really has to be a solo endeavor and at 20-30 participants the email load isn't bad but this year was a little wild. i think if i do continue next year one thing i've learned is that you cannot really achieve the same specificity of matching with 70 people that you can with 20. and my modding philosophy all along has been don't add any extra rules until they become necessary but i think i'd have to be more clear about the limited feasibility of matching based on writing preferences because i cannot possibly give everyone something that matches pairings/squicks/rating and then also "i like writing x types of fics" and i want to people to be aware of that before signing up. i really would like to give everyone their dream request but not everyone can get that :(

i actually haven't even had a chance to read anything so i am looking forward to catching up this weekend myself.

gah i don't want to sound territorial but as i never rly thought all those exchanges benefited exo ficdom i don't want the same thing to happen to bts.
