hi anon! sorry for the late response, i had some stuff typed out then my browser crashed...

anyway there's a vamp au floating around that's fairly popular (ft. leo/n) and long, if you're into that (http://inkin-brushes.livejournal.com/tag/au%3A%20vixx%21vampire)

it's okay for now~ i thought i was out of kpop and a friend showed me some vixx stuff and i was like "oh shit" and now i think i can't get ever get out of this hell hole lmao

yeah lots of material o__o! same i kind of very suddenly fell into love with vixx and lmao these kiddos are so cute

da the vamp au is long but it isn't very good wrt characterization

dda it's weird because her/their suju/exo was ok even if it was a bit too fandom characterization. their vixx is just bizarre to me

op here and i obviously don't know much yet about vixx but yeah sometimes their characterization seems a bit off to me too. like hakyeon and taekwoon are... ok most of the time but the others... lol

(first da) i rage-quit reading it after the weird rapey kenhyuk storyline and the author made excuses for it. i should have known better considering how they talk down to everyone, but there isn't a lot of vixx longfic, so i was desperate. but nope, not anymore, and i honestly discourage everyone who mentions it to me from reading it.

man, i only knew that it was not great (esp characterization) :( i probably wouldn't have rec'd it if i'd known, but there are people i know that are super into it so i assumed it was ok ;; sorry op!

da i stopped reading around then too but didn't the author say that ken was wrong for that and not ok?

the way she responded to concerns about it really rubbed me the wrong way. there was a lot of hand-waving "oh hyuk knew what he was doing so it wasn't rape it was just rough~" when like... i mean it's fine to write dubcon, but own it and say that's what it is, don't try to pass it off as healthy and say that the problem lies with the reader's interpretation. which is what she does whenever anyone ever questions her.

Their Baekhyun was so weirdly submissive & they were always making excuses for it. The SJ was OK tho

da it was very typical 2012 aff/MAMA era uke baekhyun characterization.
