i like bts but tbh i just couldn't bring myself to stan them. they never clicked with me in terms of group dynamic or personalities there. but their fandom looks pretty satisfying in terms of fic so i wish i could care more about them

I admit i sometimes read bts fics, since my fandom is pretty much dead when it comes to writing, lol
i find their group dynamic rather interesting, because to me it looks like nobody is really happy about being in this group, for various reasons.

really? i haven't watched anything of theirs since boy in luv era but why do you get that impression? i always thought they had a fairly solid group dynamic, just not one i like because they're all too loud

i'm curious about jin actually because from what i've seen people say he seems kind of alone in the group but then i've seen people say otherwise so idk which is true

i don't want to get too meta about him but as the eldest hyung he is in kind of an awkward position in the group bc he is the youngest son at home and his interests are a bit juvenile? plus he can't really relate to suga or rapmon much but at the same time rapmon is the one who's said jin (and j-hope) take care of him the best and he gets along well with sugahope and maknaeline when they aren't bugging him. idt he has the tightest friendships in the group by any means but he isn't isolated or anything.

he did say in 2013 that he didn't think being in bangtan was enjoyable/he had doubts but debuting and seeing armys made him change his mind which you can take with a grain of salt probably but he seems pretty content to me...i am a casual block b stan so someone correct me if i am wrong but he kind of reminds me of jaehyo in the sense that he doesn't get to do much but he doesn't seem particularly bothered by that fact either...?
