same, especially when i reply with something like "thanks for the compliment but i'm not planning on a sequel" and they keep insisting. then it feels like they're saying my ending wasn't good enough and it gets really annoying

yeah. if someone suggests it nicely i might think about it but the whinier they get the less i want to do it, it's not the least bit motivating.
