have you ever read a fic where you enjoyed the side plot more than you enjoyed the actual plot?

like for me there was the one chaptered fic i read ages ago on lj about onew being a vampire and turning minho into one i think but the hottest part of the like 27 chaptered fic was when human jessica gave vampire minho a blowjob as a distraction because he was so heated in thoughts over onew lolllll. for whatever reason that part was so major to me when it was only like a paragraph's worth of plot :)))
