they really do! i'm writing them for an exchange and have been rewatching their mtv diary and god, they just seem so close?? ;; they're each so fucking weird (lookin' at u gunwoo) but they get along and understand each other's weirdness.

i love gunwoo's weirdness. their relationships with each other are really interesting to me? i was fascinated by the seyong/chaejin dynamics at debut and its changed so much

seyong was very handsy with chaejin back at debut. and it was always kinda weird? to me at least it sometimes felt like he was manipulating chaejin. and chaejin never really seemed to know how to act. when seyong stopped paying him as much attention, chaejin turned to gunwoo. and now he doesn't always give in to seyong. but the three of them are an interesting grouping as well

that is interesting! i find seyong's interactions with all of them interesting, actually. i mean chaejin is really close to gunwoo and insoo and junq are like bffs or something but seyong doesn't seem particularly close to any of them? i mean generally he's close with all, but he doesn't have a unique/special something with any of them and it makes me sad sometimes.

seyong seems really needy to me in terms of wanting attention? like he enjoys being the center if attention and idk if the rest if the group is able to indulge him to way he wants. he seems fairly close to some of his dream team coworkers but they also do indulge him so there's that.

i completely agree about his need for attention. he's really outgoing and really good at the idol/mc/variety aspects of being an idol, but a lot of the time it's hard to see what lies beyond that. the others are the complete opposite. insoo is the only other one even vaguely good at variety but that's because his genuine personality happens to work well, it's not something he needs to think about or practice.

and then... there's the other three, whom i love so dearly but lord they'd be boring on anything but a reality show. gunwoo is lucky he even shows up in diary.

yeah, i love those three but variety idols they definitely aren't.

i don't know much about seyongs pre idol life but ive always wandered if he's always been loud and attention seeking? or if he has to work really hard to appear that way. sometimes it seems like he's trying really hard to hide parts of his personality
