for me, the trend that i'm seeing in kpop ficdom is that no comments are being left, spazzy or critical. i wasn't here much for this round of olymfics but if it went the way of every other fic comp or exchange there was a great deal of discussion on the meme, with anons dissecting each story and giving their opinions on everything from characterization to formatting and yet not even leaving a polite "thank you for writing" comment on the fic itself.

this is actually sort of my issue with anonmemes in general. especially when it comes to olymfics. there's a fair amount of discussion of meme on the fic, either praising it, or giving constructive criticism. but on the fic itself, i often see 0 comments. and i just think that if you can discuss fic on meme, you should at least write a simple comment on the entry itself just to show authors that their fic is being read + appreciated. i know a lot of fandoms complain about how desolate their fic environment is now, so i feel like at the very least, you should comment to encourage writers to keep on writing?
