this is something i see a lot when reading fic from well known writers in my fandom. they're okay and definitely quality fics, but have obvious flaws and some characterization issues that could be ironed out easily with proper feedback. but then i see the usual OMG SO CUTE!! SO FUNNY, PLEASE WRITE MORE!! spazzing and i kind of... don't want to be that person that comes on with elaborate pros and cons?

and it's just like people mentioned before, you never really know whether the author actually wants proper feedback or not. i don't want to be the one raining on someone's fun writing parade either. but leaving an only positive comment to something that needs improving feels a bit fake?

overthinking this issue a bit much i guess lol
