i see my bias butchered too often into an over-emotional uke-curse high school girl just because he's pretty, but if you've seen him on shows and fansigns he's nothing like that. actually he's always insisting he's the manliest member.
It aligns. "While the pairings themselves can't be changed, you're more than welcome to change the focus of the story to someone who's in the background of the original, or make it gen."
i think the mods said the main pairing has to stay the same but doesn't have to be the main focus of the story?
the rules post says:
There are two things that you are required to keep the same: basic plotline and pairing. Changing the basic plot of a story changes the story itself, though what specific plot points actually make up the necessary core of the story is entirely subjective. While the pairings themselves can't be changed, you're more than welcome to change the focus of the story to someone who's in the background of the original, or make it gen.
and that could have multiple interpretations, but i'm taking it to mean that the pairing focus can be different as well if you keep the main pairing in the story, which the author did, albeit behind the scenes!
yes that's the one, ty! i agree with the reasoning, but i still don't like characters like that (male or female). esp for rpf, for the reasons you say - it doesn't seem like a real person that's being written about, more like a cutout with that person's name
wow. staring at the screen and trying to will b1a4 fic to appear worked.
that aside I really like supernatural elements written into slice of life style atoriea but in this case itddidn't feel like it added anything to the fic. the dialogue read kind of stiff to me. I kind of wish they did more with the vampire thing rather than just let it sit there.
Ken pushes his head down closer to his diq. Ravi was now almost breathing on it, warm skin in the palm of his hand growing larger as he glided his hand up and down. He knew that soon that wouldn't be enough. A hand tilted his head back and a finger slipped in Ravi's mouth, opening his jaw and pressing against his molars. Saliva pooled on Ravi's tongue as he dare not swallow. "Ravi, come on, show me what you've been practicing." Ken's hand wrapped around his, maneuvering his own diq until Ravi felt the tip touch his bottom lip. From the back of his throat, Ravi grunted and instinctively swallowed as saliva pooled downwards.
