(Anonymous) 2013-06-20 04:05 pm (UTC)(link)ugh kyuhyun's obvious fanboy adoration of donghae is one of the reasons I love kyuhae so hard, it's so cute (and again, I think this is kind of donghae bringing out other sides to people? cause kyu definitely fanboys him ;;) were kyumin not a thing before lots of people started shipping them? I've never liked kyumin myself as a ship so it's hard for me to remember, or was this another thing that came out of the mini drama and then shippers just went crazy with it? I KNOW with shihae you can just send people pics and clips and be like LOOK AT THEM OMG but if I were to try and write fic now it would just be "shiwon and donghae loved each other, and were silly and cute and lived happily ever after, and donghae always got his way, the end." damn you, perfect ships, I love you but I cannot write you ;;
yeah, I think shiwon had like, no personality when suju debuted so no one knew what he was like, but somewhere along the line he just flourished into this amazing, hilarious, ridiculous dork with a great face, I can't help but find him ridiculously endearing ;; his earnestness with everything he does, and his eagerness and friendly, easy nature really, really make me love him ;;
I KNOW RIGHT? I always used to say that shihae were the SEXY SHIP. CAUSE. UNF, LOOK AT THEM. AND THAT SCENE. THE BEST COUPLE EVER. god that drama, I love how that was a thing and a show suju did.
haha first fics for groups I find always turn out like that but I will not judge!! I am understanding in how these things work!
HAHA OMG I didn't even mean to keep talking to you about onho/shinee but I am so pleased I have somehow convinced you of their amazingness, yay ;; if you do read any of the fics/enjoy them, let me know!! :D they really are perfect for highschool au's, and their personalities seperately (and dynamics together) can lead to such fun encounters, I don't think I could ever get tired on onho hs au ;; haha yeah I know right, I can't be sad about anything when you compare to dbsj ficdom, which is deader than almost anything else ;;

(I like 2min too ;;) especially after jongkey. aww, I'm being endeared by onkey but I think it's cause their friendship is much more even these days now they actually like each other, so it's kind of cute, but nothing beats onho ;;
YES, if you like those kind of love/hate relationships then minkey are definitely the ones for you! (they recently had an appearance together on wgm cause taemin is on the show, and minkey just spent the whole time TROLLING poor taemin together, it was amazing)
yeah, they all knew each other for SO LONG, and I think one of the other things that could have helped forge their bond was when kyuhyun was added, and they weren't going to be a rotation group anymore, like originally planned. (that and, whilst I don't really want to get into it cause of sad feelings, but kyuhyun's accident I think definitely added to it too, the realisation that some of them nearly DIED must have added to their bond ;;)
YES INTIMATE NOTE. god that was good fun, I loved watching that! And I was super surprised by it as well, I knew that kangmin were not very similar but I'd had no idea before that they were awkward together because that just never came across?
yeeees, it's hard to leave a group you've liked so much and for so long, and even during the times I become less active/involved, I always love them and will never truly leave, even if most of my friends have moved on from sj by now ;; haha, a lot of people moved over to exo from ALL fandoms I think, especially ficwise, I can totally get following favourite writers from other fandoms to their new ones just for good fic to read! ;; sssh, I shall blush, and omg this gets longer and longer with every reply! >>

(Anonymous) 2013-06-20 05:07 pm (UTC)(link)aah, yes kyuhae is SO adorable. and its true! i think donghae is the kind of guy who brings out the best in everyone! like even heechul as you said. and seeing kyuhyun the new kid crush on him so hard made my life *__* kyumin definitely really exploded because of the mini drama and everyone went insane. like they had interactions, but it was def the mini drama that got people all crazy (as a result i actually think it stunted their relationship. like they've been roommates even until now and by how sungmin talks about him you know they're close. but their interactions are just sooo awkward idgi). AND THAT SOUNDS LIKE THE PERFECT FIC u___u like sihae is just so real that its a curse. like i'm scared to taint their perfection with fic.
and yes!! i think his abilities to entertain so well when with suju m is a testament to his drive and eagerness?? like it'd be so easy to just be like wtv and halfass those promotions because new language and you already have a loyal group of c-elf. but instead he tries so hard to make everything entertaining and he seems really genuinely into it too! i also have respect towards him for sticking with suju whilst he could have easily had a great career as an actor. i think it was so loyal of him.
UNF THE SEX PAIRING. like their antics on stage ;; and yes that entire mini drama. like they did not hold back AT ALL. redefining fanservice/your otp would never. do you have any fav sihae fics BTW??

omg no its perfectly fine!! i was always meaning to try and get into shiner and you're giving me a perfect medium. i really liked the life guard au in your rec btw! omg this is the aesthetic part of cute and cautious onew with tall muscular choi minho coming into play. i think i just really like pairings where there's a lot of eagerness/softness from one side (ala kyuhae), and that's what onho is kinda sounding like to me.
omggggg. that's so adorable. ontae are so cute!! all these pairings in shiner seem so cute ;; i can definitely see why you like so many shinee pairings, they're all so adorable/fluffy. i watched that homemade video shinee uploaded for wss promotions at the ontae/2min in it were SO CUTE.
aah, i'm sure i could get into liking onkey too if i got into/started following shinee closer! i think the only reason i couldn't with my friend is because i didn't really like it aesthetically (ik! i'm so shallow) + she mentioned appa/umma and lol, that's one trope i'm not a fan of. but ooh, did onkey not like each other before?? i don't remember much apart from a clip of them being really qt in hello baby. i know from the taxi ep last year minkey didn't like e/o, i'm curious as to why onkey didn't? or was it just indifference before?
and i LOVE love/hate relationships. minkey seems like such a trope-y manga pairing, i made a good choice shallow me *___* oh, also i really like jongho because i think they're so funny and their twitrer escapades CRACK me up. and omg taemin on wgm. i shrieked when I saw that. like, isn't he 14????
omg no the kyuhyun accident i think was definitely a huge blow for the team, and i think an experience like that is what really brought them together. i love suju as idols actually because they've gone through such human/relatable things as a group even tho it is depressing. like they've gone through tragedy, death of family members, depression, etc and there's something really raw about them in that way. like i can't imagine them not having ties of kinship even after going through all that. and yeah, im not sure if its just because I never laid attention to kangmin, but from before intimate note I just took their relationship for granted bcos of one gif of kangin groping sungmin's butt.
same!! i think i'm just overly sentimental. but also it takes a lot of time for me to become really invested in something, so it's hard for me to really fall out of fandom. like I'm always truing to look for new bands to stan because with the army and everything, it's around time for me to like find another fandom to be comfortable in. but idk, i'll just always be really attached to super junior. i think they're such an unique group in k-pop for real. and omg they do!! they've turned into mini essays now lol. all from one question lol. I've been repressing my suju feels for too long u__u

(that's kind of weird, if they're closer now than they used to be, why are they still so awkward around each other?! what is going on with them?) LOL IT IS THE PERFECT FIC, NO ONE CAN TOP IT. I still want to try, one day, maybe, I will find the story to tell for shihae ;; lmao you wouldn't curse them though I am sure!
YES! I feel like everything he does he gives 200% and he always looks interested/engaged/earnest about it all, no matter what it is he's doing! he seems busy and hardworking and I love that about him ;; and yeah, he could have gone off, and he could have it pretty easy but he seems to really love the rest of suju as well and being IN suju, how can you not love that ;;
OH GOD THEY KILL ME ON STAGE. and they're always whispering together, like always always and I know shiwon's especially skinshippy ANYway but him and donghae can be especially skinshippy together ;; THEY KILL ME. UM GOD there are hardly any shihae fics at all tbh and they're all old and I never saved any, but my favourite will always be phasera's unfinished painted as opposites, did you ever read that? I wish it was going to get finished ;;

hahaha I am glad, because you know when you discover something new and get into it and all you want to do is TELL THE WORLD AND MAKE THEM LOVE IT LIKE YOU DO. I feel like I've actually done that now and spreading the love is beautiful ;; OH GOD THE LIFEGUARD IS MY FAVOURITE FIC and like perfect onho to me omg ;; aww eagerness/softness is exactly the description for onho actually (lmao though I tend to link them more to shihae in my head than kyuhae, cause I think of shihae as this romantic pairing and onho is my romantic shinee pairing, but the idea of minho being eager and earnest like kyuhyun is new and cute too ;;)
THEY ARE CUTE, I can't resist cuddly ships ;; there are some very cute/sweet shinee pairings, by they have their angst ridden ones too! (I don't ship it, but jongyu is a pairing full of angst and pain ;;) oh god shinee's homemade video thing was SO CUTE, the ontae/2min were killing me in it ;; MINHO STROKING TAEMIN'S NECK. COME. ON.
LOL oh god, poor onkey, you didn't like their aesthetics! it's ok though, I get it, and god I dunno about the appa/umma thing as I have not read any onkey fic/fandom stuff but that would put me off too, especially after seeing the overwhelming amount of kangteuk appa/umma fic in sj fandom ;; haha well apparently key didn't really like onew very much? but I think now key is used to onew and his ways and now they seem pretty evenly matched in their mutual liking for each other? that and key was teaching onew how to be more fashionable, which I find both hilarious and cute. I think maybe it was just down to key being judgemental and going on first impression or whatever but now years have passed and they've both grown up key actually likes onew more!
haha god that's funny you are not the first person I've heard relate minkey to trope-y manga pairings, its so true though! you made an excellent choice though! haha I'm not so into jongho as a ship cause I don't really ship any jonghyun pairings BUT they're trolly bromance relationship is amazing and hilarious ;; I haven't seen any of their twitter escapades though! HAHAHA no he is TAEMAN NOW, and he's like 20/21? I know what you mean though, forever mushroom boy 12 year old ;;
yeah it was, and when they all come through it in one piece that definitely enforced the bond they already have! and yeah, they have gone through a lot of other stuff, its sad and horrible but makes them more relatable as well? and to see that they can come through all of this stuff and still work hard and smile and have fun is just, lovely ;; it definitely has tied them together though. HAHA I took kangmin's relationship for granted too, I'm pretty sure they had like, one of those pepero eating contests together but with a sausage once, and so I was pretty surprised to learn later how they really were!
haha it's okay cause I am overly sentimental too ;~; and I am slow to love and invest as well! ugh I am not looking forward to when eunshihae have to go into the army, it will be the most boring 2 years of fandom life ever ;; new bands will definitely be needed then! they are definitely unique and nothing will ever quite match up to suju for me, they've spoiled me for all other fandoms I am sure ;; hahaha apparently we both have a lot of undiscussed suju feels!! its so nice to get them out, though ;;
